Brynhildr Obtained

Slogged though to Relics of the Past as a Lord before I got annoyed with being petrified by swordmasters.  I switched Denam to Knight and got to get away from level scaling(Knight is level 31) for Relics and Chamber of the Seal.  Counter Attack IV and some light healing made short work of both levels.  All I have left is Dorgalua.

Oh Lord-y

I flew through most of Chapter 4 yesterday.  Knight tanking up until I got some Lord class marks, did some light grinding to get me to level 20ish(and pick up two weapon fighting from Ninja) and have blitzed though The Hanging Gardens to The Ivory Stair.  Which is the last semi-random fight before the very end.  I have hit level 32 Lord and now have hit level scaling again which does worry me a little bit as I got sandbagged pretty hard by a bunch of knights/terror knights(frighten sucks) and a cleric busting out heal IVs.  I might just have to cheese the fight and knock everyone off the map but I haven't gotten there yet.

So close though, 6 maps to go!

Let me cling to me-ether...something

Mount Weobry is conquered.  And so is Chapter 4 up to The Vanessan Way. :D

I leveled knight up to 14 and gave Weobry a few shots but wound up getting petrified and overwhelmed  a few times so I kicked it up to 18 and had some pretty smooth sailing by sitting up in the raised corner you start by and killing things as they walk up to Denam then popping healing seeds/phalanx to recover.  Counter Attack III and hitting like a truck with a crafted weapon, hammers rank 6, and strengthen/anatomy has made battles go pretty fast since you can rely on a counter attack doing 100+ damage then swing into the guy who hit Denam on his turn for the killing blow.

I am now planning on sprinting to lord before level scaling kicks in again and then I'll really be set.  Being able to dual wield so I can kill stuff from full health or at least do more damage then what can be healed though out of the healing seeds/phalanx turtle is going to make finishing up this a breeze.

The gravy train is over. I have hit plot scaling. :(

I have cleared up to Mount Weobry in Chapter 3N.  I am level 30 and according to my guide they are suppose to be level 14.

Right now these guys hit way to hard for me to have a chance.  I am going to try leveling as a knight to pick up phalanx and try to tank these guys down.

I cleared though Xeod Moors and unlocked crafting. Rhea Boum was pretty simple following the "give Catiua MP and have her blow things up" strategy. She would bring a octopus to near death in two shots and Denam clean up with a auto crit. Playing defensively and having her hang out in the little alcove near the barrel made things pretty simple. Denam just killed whomever got close until Xapan got close then he got two shotted.

Xeod Moors is a joke if you don't try to save Arycelle. Denam fed Catiua some MP and moved forward. Catiua proceeded to do 90+ damage to the golems/berserker/warriors who got close and Denam cleaned up. Once Vance the fragile Rune Knight got close Denam one shot him with the hammer finisher.

Next time: Get my crafting on and keep the train running.

Chapter One in the bag

BAM!

Starting over as a warrior was the ticket.  By the time I got to Lake Bordu the Denam/Vyce warrior mace/shield army of two was level 10 and I made sure Catiua stayed alive so she was level 9 and the 3 of them made short work of everything on the map, with Catiua busting out 70+ damage Spirit Surges.

I made sure to kill Canopus and Donnalto so they would not absorb any experience and made sure to keep my guests alive so they could support Denam stay leveled up.  I gave Vyce Mighty Impact and Field Alchemy I but he literally never used either so next time I'd skip them.  Also Ravness wound up being pretty useless.  She did a few finishers but she wound up dying every fight.

Also I chose the chaos route for Chapter 2.  My last play through was grinding through the Law path and basically I want to try chaos-neutral route because I haven't seen the neutral bit yet.  I'll see if this bites me in the ass.

Denam is now level 12e:level 14! after Port Asyton with Catiua at level 10e:level 12(she ran away in Port Asyton because Arycelle kept shooting her and she was to stupid to stay away).
